Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book or receive services from AB Garden Cleaning ("we", "us"), a sole trader based in Barnsley, United Kingdom. By confirming a booking you agree to these terms.

1. Our services

We provide gardening services including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, garden clearance and seasonal tidies. Each job is agreed in advance based on the details you provide.

2. Quotes and pricing

• Quotes are based on the information you give us and may be revised on-site if conditions are materially different (e.g. heavily overgrown areas, hidden waste).
• Any change to the agreed price will be discussed with you before extra work is carried out.
• Unless stated, quotes do not include disposal fees for large amounts of green waste.

3. Bookings and cancellations

• Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
• We may need to reschedule due to severe weather (heavy rain, storms, frozen ground) for safety reasons. We'll contact you as soon as possible.

4. Access and safety

• You are responsible for providing safe access to the garden, including any gates, side paths or keys.
• Please let us know about pets, hazards, hidden cables, sprinkler systems, or items you don't want disturbed.
• If unsafe conditions are found on arrival, we may decline to start the work.

5. Payment

• Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed.
• Accepted methods will be confirmed when booking (typically bank transfer or cash).
• Late payments may incur a reasonable administrative charge.

6. Our liability

• We take care to perform work safely and to a good standard.
• We are not liable for damage caused by hidden objects, unmarked cables or pipes, pre-existing defects, or items not disclosed in advance.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under law.

7. Photos

We may take before/after photos of work for our records and portfolio. We will not include identifying details of your property (e.g. house number) without your permission. Let us know if you'd prefer no photos to be taken.

8. Complaints

If you're unhappy with any work, please contact us within 7 days at abcleaning651@gmail.com and we'll do our best to put it right.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
